Katie and her editing team enjoy working with authors passionate about sharing their expertise to help others grow. They especially love collaborating with first-time indie authors writing nonfiction business, self-help, and how-to books.

Katie also works with fiction authors who want hands-on, craft-focused editing to strengthen their storytelling.

Over the past nine years, Katie, a former English teacher, has personally edited 223 nonfiction books, working closely with authors to bring clarity and polish to their manuscripts. Since launching her agency last year, she’s led a dedicated team committed to maintaining that same high standard of editing.

Katie and her team offer a hands-on, collaborative editing experience and a unique combined editing package that includes substantive (developmental) editing, line editing, and copyediting—all at a reduced rate compared to booking services separately. This streamlined approach saves authors time and money while ensuring a high level of polish and clarity throughout the manuscript. After editing, team members can provide professional proofreading and formatting services if you’d like one team to guide you from manuscript to publication.
