Dan Janal

Dan works with business and healthcare professionals who want to attract more high-paying clients by marketing with a book. As a result of his work, business leaders report that they have more impact and influence.

He offers ghostwriting services for business fable books, book coaching, and developmental editing services. Clients have included a US Army General, a retired NFL star, several doctors, certified financial planners, business coaches, self-help experts, and customer service consultants.

Dan is the author of more than a dozen books, including six that have been translated into six languages. He is an award-winning daily newspaper reporter and business news editor. He offers a 16-week program that combines book coaching and developmental editing so you can write your book fast. Dan has an extensive background in publicity and marketing, so he can guide you in writing your book in a way that turns the book into a marketing tool to help you get more prospects. Dan's business fable books break the mold by adding action, suspense, and drama to the story, so the reader absorbs your message while reading a book they can't put down.

Dan uses his journalism instincts to find what is new, interesting, and different in his clients' messages so they stand out from the competition. He often surprises his clients by pointing out their unique brand assets, which they were unaware of. He earned two degrees in journalism from Northwestern University. He interviewed President Gerald Ford and First Lady Barbara Bush.

He also hosts a podcast, "Write Your Book in a Flash with Dan Janal," which has more than 200 episodes. Dan has a knack for seeing future trends: He wrote one of the first books about marketing on the Internet in 1993, voice recognition technology in 1998, and the dangers of the Internet in 1999. He has spoken everywhere, from Beijing to Budapest to Brazil and across the U.S. and Canada. He taught the first Internet marketing class at Berkeley and Internet branding at Stanford.
